Like you, this is a new one on me. The seats appear (on one of the
heads I've got) to be cast bronze/machined inserts which are inserted
into the casting die, with the aluminum then cast around the
pre-positioned inserts. Definitely indicating a return to the

cover off and noticed the intake valve clearance was
about 1/8" or so. I pushed in the valve to see if it

out of the head fully assembled with spring and

Can the intake assembly be reinstalled in the head
and what holds it in place? Other than aligning the
