and crank slide the crank with the rings in bore until they contact the chamfer
of crankcase. Lightly pull on crank shaft from the front and using a
small screw driver assist rings in groove while maintaining pulling pressure on
front of crank. Prior to installation make sure on sharp edges are on
crankcase chamfer that rings will ride on. It make it real hard if there
any marks.</span></font></p>

together. On the subject of the two rings on the crank shaft, what is the
best way to compress them so I can slide the crank as far fwd as it will
go? They protrude quite a bit from the groove right now. Your
