bearing which he removed the seals from and it did not last long. He then
installed the Boca stainless bearing as it came with the seals intact and it is
fine to this day. I too installed the Boca stainless bearing with the seals
intact and have had no problems. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV>Just last weekend, I finally had to replace the Boca SS bearings that I
put into my OS 1.40 RX before the engine was ever run. I noticed the bearing
roughness after flight number 431. Based on advice from so many Pattern
pilots, I never even tried the stock bearings.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The fuel was 15% Magnum and the engine was run dry after every
session. I used Mobil 1 as an after run oil each time. The rear bearing
had both seals removed and the front bearing had the rear seal removed but
kept the front seal of course. The front bearing seal was metal, not rubber so
I don't know if Mobil 1 would affect rubber.</DIV>
