The 727 only had a note in the Flight Manual: "Maximum demonstrated
cross wind landing 29 knots." <br>
But, as a friend of mine once said: "It's an advisory until you slide
off the runway. Then it becomes a Limitation." (Which, BTW, is
Inviolate.) True.<br>
