<DIV>Years ago I built a field box and it has lasted fairly well. I brushed on a run-of-the-mill sanding sealer (no stain) on the wood to get it smooth. Then I sprayed a couple of coats of clear Formula U (spray can, from the hobby shop). I guess it is about 15 years old and still looks good. I have been pretty careful not to get fuel on it, though. And, it has not been used for a few years now. :-( I hope to change that soon. :-)</DIV>
