planes. I do look for newer designs, but my first pattern plane which I
bought a couple years ago was a Goldberg Finesse 120. It was ready to fly
minus engine, receiver and battery. I paid $450. It was a great
flying plane. It was bought from a local club member, no shipping
issues. My second plane was a focus version 1. Paid $400 for it
with no equipment installed. It only had a dozen flights. It was
also a local seller so there were no shipping issues.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 color=navy face=Arial><span style='font-size:
10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy'>Problems seems to be is that getting a
plane from the seller to my door is pretty much next to impossible unless they
are within driving radius. That cuts the market available to purchase
down to a very small percentage of people available to buy. If people
were willing to ship planes and could get a ball park figure for shipping it
might make it more enticing<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 color=navy face=Arial><span style='font-size:
10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy'>I myself need a plane for next
season. Problem is that with a very busy schedule between work, 2 kids,
and my wife’s business it makes it very difficult to build. I saw a
couple planes I would like to have. The PL Luzulite that Bill posted last
week is a great deal and the Focus is a great flying plane, especially at my
level of flying. Where I live if the individual was willing to ship the
plane it would end up costing me another $300 or $400. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
