<DIV>At the time, no one new anything about shortening the antenna. I
just ordered another G3, and planned on sending the offending receiver back
in.</DIV>
<DIV>I figured I'd need more than one G3 receiver anyway, so getting another
was no big deal. I plan on shortening the antenna as specified, but
haven't had a chance to do it yet. I'm going to use an old sport
plane, just in case. It was weird though, only the throttle channel
had a problem. It would lock at high throttle for a couple extra
seconds, then start responding like normal. Kind of spooky having it
start doing it right in the middle of a contest round. I was glad that
it was throttle and not something like elevator. I had it do it a day
before, but figured it was something to do with antenna routing or a
vibration thing. Repadded the receiver and shifted the antenna route,
and it all went away. Thought I had it solved...</DIV>
