little problem occurs mostly on helicopters and big gas airplanes. Not exactly
the applications where you want something to fail in this way. Is this any way

lockout problem being a result of over-sensitivity. Aparantly, cutting
the specified amount off the antenna has no negative effect on range. I
know how you feel about being spooked. I get the "fun" opportunity to
actually try the procedure out! I've got an old plane that's not long
for this world, so I plan on using it for the test.</DIV>
