and from your inputs it looks like it will do the job.

I vote with Verne. Buy the cheapie system ACP sells if you plan to use .7 to
1.5# foam. It pulls the right vac ( about 6 in. hg. or 5 psi ) without a
pressure regulator. It is very convenient to use.
